[Yuri jumps slightly at the little thud, looking to Rei at first to determine everything's okay before she sighs deeply in agreement. She leans back in her chair, closing her books with a frown.]
I wasn't this worried before I started. I know I know this, but the more I read the more anxious I get. I can hardly think.
[Her tone holds a slight whine to it that wouldn't normally be there and she slouches more in her seat] I give up. Just fail out. [One exam failure, even the final, wouldn't be enough for her to fail-- hell, she probably wouldn't even drop a whole grade or anything--but there was a sinking feeling of 'inevitably going to fail' about the whole thing that seemed separate from even normal anxiety regarding exams.]
